Four Years at a Glance
Introduction
Faraa Maai is a prominent independent Arab online media platform led by Palestinian women, producing high-quality textual and audiovisual content. "Faraa Maai" means "It matters to me" in Arabic, reflecting our commitment to amplifying the voices and concerns of our communities. We advocate for a feminist, independent, and human rights-oriented perspective in an environment where critical voices are often silenced.
Our Identity
As a non-partisan, non-commercial platform, Faraa Maai serves as a space for journalists, writers, academics, and activists. We produce engaging content on political, social, and cultural topics, reaching Palestinian communities in Israel, East Jerusalem, the West Bank, Gaza, Middle East region, and Arabic speakers worldwide.
Empowering Palestinian Women's Voices
Faraa Maai elevates the voices of Palestinian women across politics, economics, culture, and society. Led by women, we create impactful discussions and foster long-term change in public discourse through a feminist lens.
